Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. Her talent was noticed by an agent and encouraged her to enter the business of entertainment. After a lot of consideration, she dropped out of her university and entered the entertainment industry. She first made an appearance in the feature film Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror and found herself disappointed by her performance. Her acting skills were developed through appearances in low-budget film productions. It wasn't an straightforward path for the actor but her sheer willpower and patience did not go unrewarded.
